You Know You Are Loved

You Know You Are Loved...

************************

#1) When you receive an sms from a dear of friend from years ago telling you this:

When life gives u a thousand reasons to cry, show that u have thousand reasons to smile. Keep smiling and enjoy life no matter how hard it may seem.

Isn't that sweet? :) I was feeling so disheartened that day with my going-no-where studying and just felt like giving up when I received this. The odd thing is... we hardly sms each other. Normally, we just talk on MSN (when it so happens that we are both online! hehe.. cos we're always "away" anyway... okok.. I'm the one who's always "away".. *shy*... hehe). And I don't think she knows that I was going through rough times in Uni...
But really... Hannah, if you're reading this... thank you so much! *hugs* It really means a lot to me :)

************************

#2) When your best buddy in the whole world messages you at approximately 5:3opm on the 25th of April (slightly more than an hour after my last but one paper) to 'remind' you that you have only one more paper left before you officially claim freedom from Uni life.

Isn't that sweet? :D Then she messaged me again an hour after my final paper today to celebrate my freedom with me!! She actually remembered my time table!! *hugs* thank you so so much Melissa dear... Can't wait to see you when I get back to Pg.. will call you okies? ;)

************************

#3) Your 'bestest' buddy *ahems* celebrates your freedom with you although some shithead just stole his PDA and wallet

let me rephrase that... his nice green Rm500 Gucci wallet. So sorry to hear about that Zeeks... I really am (not sarcastic ok!) but look on the bright side, you're going to Paris next week so you can enjoy yourself and try to forgot about the whole incident.

Some people spend their lives stealing from others, whether it's something expensive like your wallet and PDA or something as insignificant as my Estee Lauder lip gloss and my Clinique lipstick (they are not cheap but it's odd because since it's MY lip gloss and all, why would anyone be disgusting enough to want to use it?! they wouldn't know what kinda diseases I might have right?! sheesh... some ppl are plain gross...)

Anyways, fret not... what goes around comes around... Hope these people trip and fall face first into a pile of shit and they will never be able to wash the stench from their already stinking bodies *bleargh*

So... have fun, enjoy your trip and most of all... REMEMBER MY SOUVENIR!! (remember what I said about you getting me only a Eiffle Tower key chain!! :p) Take care *hugs*

Thank you guys so much :D

A Walk To Remember

Love is like the wind. It cannot be seen. It can only be felt.

In a lovey-dovey melancholy mood today =p tv3 aired "A Walk To Remember" at 10pm just now. It felt so good watching it again. It's very slow moving but it's touches the chords of your soul. I cried the first time I watched it. One thing though, you gotta pay attention to the dialogue or you'll miss out on a lot of gut-wrenching stuff!

I remember prior to my final exam (btw, I'm STILL in the middle of my final exam now), I used to go to the uni's library and sit in the corner (yeah, on the floor) where no one would see me, or bother me, while I read the book of the same title. Nicholas Sparks' "A Walk To Remember". I thought the book was better than the movie because the words explicitly explained the emotions and the thoughts of each person. A slow read, but a good one, nevertheless! :D

And now I'm just waiting for "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" to come on so that I can laugh my heart out and then go to bed ;)

Missing Stuff

SHIT LAR!!!

Someone stole my bag!!! A little bag inside my clutch that contains some name cards (job opportunities *ahem ahem*), 3 sticks of lip gloss (one which costs a bloody RM80++) and some other miscellaneous stuff. I hope whoever it is develops a frigging lip infection and suffer for more than a month!! (I can't get over the loss of my lip gloss and the little suede bad because the bag came with the purchase of another bag)

Mind you... this happened when I was sitting for my DSS exam paper in uni. When we go into the exam hall for the paper, we have to leave our bags outside. Damn it lar..

Some people are so bloody lame.. Did I tell you about the time some idiot who stole my drinking bottle?! A PUNY BLUE CLUTTERED WITH POOH STICKERS DRINKING BOTTLE!!! How fucking lame is that!? I was in the Internet lab and when I came out, my bottle was missing *scream* that bottle doesn't even cost more than RM20, why would anyone wanna steal it?! It's a gift from a friend and I hope whoever took chokes and every mouthful of drink he/she takes for a year!

Friggin kleptomaniacs. There's a special place in hell reserved for them! I don't understand why these people are in uni! What does the uni teach them? What do they major in anyway? "Rummage Other's Bags Methods"? "Techniques for stealing cheap plastic bottles"?

Procrastination. The root of my being. Damn!

My first paper's on Tuesday (18/04) followed by another one on Thursday (20/04). Third paper's on the following Tuesday (25/04) and the final one is on Thursday (27/04).
3 more days and I haven't read anything! Zilch! Nada!!

I am so digging my own grave.

(What the hell am I doing? Blogging when I should be slaving away at the books? I dunno.. Been asking myself that too.. *sigh*)

What's worse, I spent the ENTIRE week reading... yups.. insightful books by Sophie Kinsella. One you start, you can't stop. I read "Can You Keep A Secret?" first, followed by the ENTIRE shopaholic series ("Confessions of a Shopaholic", "Shopaholic Takes Manhattan", "Shopaholic Ties The Knot" and "Shopaholic and Sister"). I tell you, I can sooooooo relate to the 'heroine' Becky Bloomwood! hahaha..

Oh, and I also finished reading Stephen King's "Dolores Chaiborne". Thank God I have no more new books or else I am so so screwed...

This is incurable... Somebody please shoot me before I self destruct.

=*a loaded gun complex, cock it and pull it*=

It's not always rainbows and butterflies

It's compromise that moves us along
My heart is full and my door's always open
You can come anytime you want

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow...

I finally, finally cut my hair...

A whopping 5 inches chopped off! Just like that! *snaps fingers* (okies.. maybe more than 5 inches). I used to have hair that touches my belt (on occassions when I wore belts) and now... it's barely a over my shoulders (if I tip my head to the side)...

my long and erm.. (lustrous? no.. beautiful?? no... ermm.. Just LONG ok!) long hair..

GONE!! ALL GONE!!!

*yawn*

I thought I would be traumatized with my hair cut, but frankly, I still don't feel no nothing yet! hmmm... All started when I went to Dry Cut yesterday with Chin Aun. Just wanted to go for the periodic trim since it's only RM9.90, so what the heck... Mana tahu... yesterday, the person who did my hair informed me that it is now RM20 for females and RM15 for males regardless of whether you want them to wash your hair or not!

See? It's waaaaaaaaaaaay shorter now..

What could I do except nod my head and let him continue snipping away? Then I thought, oh well, since I am paying RM20 anyway, might as well give him extra work right? *grins* It was then that I told him I've decided not to only trim my hair, just cut it shorter so that I can re-dye it in a couple of months. And would you believe it... he actually SHRIEKED! hahaha... and stomped his foot *ahems* I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing!! Then he complained that I should have told him earlier and how he had to 'plan' all over again! (huh? *scratch head*) Oh well..

Ok... Maybe I did it on purpose! :p

I know some of you will say that it's not much of a difference.. but for someone who's been lugging her hair around for the past year, it's a big difference ok!! *hmmph* I actually thought about going for a real SHORT cut.. but I figured I'd rather not suffer from a heart attack just yet...

Hmm... should have take a shot from the back... more obvious... When I tie up my hair, it's really obvious. I used to have a "horse's tail" and now... maybe gotta settle for "dog's tail" lah.. not "pony-tail" anymore..

I'm blabbering.. It's late.. Time for bed already.. so you must excuse me...

Anyways... My new hair feels weird, but still mine nevertheless..

.
See?? When I tilt my head, it passes my shoulders only by a couple of inches

Light In Your Eyes

There's a light in my eyes
It's too bright to see
And a pain in my heart
Where you used to be
Guess I was wrong to assume
That you were waiting here for me
There's a Light in your eyes
Did you leave that light burning for me?

[Blessid Union of Souls - Light In Your Eyes]

I suddenly remember this, so I'm posting it up. Hope you see it!
Remember this song? *grins*
Remember OUR version of it? *bigger grin*
I miss you so friggin much...
*hugs*
See you when I get back
ok?
(I just realized that I don't even need to address you cos you know who you are *winks*) hee hee...

Bumbu Bali :D

I've decided to dedicate this entire post to the meal that Zeeks treated me and Chin Aun to at Bumbu Bali :D Zeeks, if you are reading this, you should be pleased, yes? *grins* and... since you were on your 'best' behaviour all night (most of the time anyway! and I didn't manage to catch you on camera doing odd stuff) there won't be any funny pics of you here ;) hee hee... and I shall describe you in the most colorful terms!! (I meant colorful in a GOOD way! don't worry!!)

On Friday, Zeeks came over to pick me and Chin Aun up and took us to Bumbu Bali (some eating place) in Puchong! *yeah* Took us around 30mins plus to get there cos of the traffic and it was quite a distance away from where we are staying. To give him credit, he came straight from work ;) so that kinda shows some sincerity *ahems* hehehe... (kidding, Zeeks!)

This is the front view of the place:

It's kinda blur cos it was taken with my phone... If only I'd brought my trusty old camera *smack forehead*
The place looked really nice! Nice decor! hehe... pretty authentic Bali looking! But I heard from Zeeks that the owner is a Korean... so, go figure!
The following photos are of the interior of the place. We wanted to get seats upstairs but it was full already and the only available seats were downstairs, so we had to settle for that. We actually had to wait for a table cos it was packed! *whoa*

Photos of Chin Aun and Zeeks...

Left: That Chin Aun giving me another funny face when I asked him to smile at the camera *hmmph* Said he was too hungry to smile!

Right: Mr. Vain-Pot won't be too hungry to smile! hee hee...

Some photos of our FOOD!! *yeah* the food is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! But it was kinda pricey though. Around the same price range as places like Chilis and Friday's, but smaller portions.

Mine - I ordered and grilled lamb and beef combo :D yummilicious!! okok... so I'm a red meat lover ;)

Chin Aun's order - Grilled Chicken with Squid. Mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and coleslaw on the side (same as mine!) here's a white meat lover ;)

Zeeks' Order - Half Chicken (I think it's a 'kampung' chicken cos it's too puny) with yellow rice (whazzat??) with different sauces... he's going oriental with the rice :p

Bumbu Bali's Version of TRIPLE PLAY! :D Zeeks ordered this for us to share. It's 4 sticked of 'sate' (mashed chicken meat on vege sticks), fried sotong and grilled chicken wings. My fav = the SATE! and the garlic-chili sauce *yums*

I made them wait... TOLD THEM NOT TO DIG IN YET...so that I can take the photos. And in the course of doing that, I was made hugely UNPOPULAR. I was insulted and harrased *hmmph* and Zeeks decided to DIG IN ANYWAY and went straight for the fried sotong! and I caught him on camera! hahaha.. I managed to smack Chin Aun's hand before he got to the sotong! Hmm.. both of them aimed for the sotong first... must be the portion size.. easy to stuff into mouth! haha...

Zeeks hand in front of mouth = After stuffing the sotong in!! Cis!

(note: because I promised not to do or say anything bad about him... the pic of him stuffing food in his mouth is of a smaller size :p) hee hee...

They're TOASTING TO ME!! Muahahahaha...

Some photos that were taken after the meal:

Three of us posing for the camera...

That's me and Chin Aun looking stuffed! I look kinda doinky with my hair out of place...

Proof of Payment: Zeeks paying for the meal *grins* (THANK U THANK U!)

The following photos were taken upstairs :) We went upstairs to have a look around after eating...

Left: Me and Chin Aun while Zeeks went off to answer nature's call

Right: Chin Aun and Zeeks posing with a little fountain and the picture of Buddha(?) in the background (the whole place had all these deco up and they are all for sale!)

Final photo of the day :) Zeeks kept inching behind to make my face and Chin Aun's face bigger! Teruk case...

Basically, it was good food with great company :D hehe.. Thanks so much Zeeks, for taking us there, and for the lovely treat. *hugs* Thanks for telling me about this place when you went there the first time (which was a couple of weeks back) and for being nice enough to want to take me and Chin Aun there to check it out (hmm... nice? *grins* don't normally see this word in the same sentence that describes you eh? hee hee) Looking forward to the next one! *hint hint* Tokyo Sushi? hee hee.. (kidding kidding!!) Hope we can do it again some time soon... But gotta look for something for affordable this time! ;)

oklar.. won't make you pay ok?! hee hee... maybe we can go for steamboat? ;)

Hope this post did you and Bumbu Bali justice...
