either that or someone/something died in it! yups... isn't that sick? *ugh* just thinking about it is making me sick. Every month, the water bill's around a whopping RM60.00 for 4 people whereas in Penang, it's only RM20.00 for 6 people (with washing machine and etc). How's that for stupid? Frggin shit... This is practically extortion. Paying such an obscene amount for water that smells like shit (in the newspapers, they say the water smells like feaces but I'm just gonna be blunt and say shit instead). Initially, the water's just yellowish (PJ water's always been yellow??) but it doesn't smell like this. A couple of days back, the water's been clearer but it stinks! Reading the papers just makes us even more pissed. When asked, SYABAS said that the "matter is still under investigation" and that it was "safe for consumption".
I say... SCREW THEM!!! "
safe for consumption eh? how about shoving a couple of gallons down their throat and see how they like drinking crap-smelling water?! Charging the residents so much for disgustingly contaminated water...
*take a deep breath*

at least it's better today... hah... But I really am keeping my fingers crossed they would trip and fall, face first, into a pile of manure. Just to show them how difficult it is to wash the shitty smell off their bodies...
2. YET another hike in petrol price
30 cents this time!! *sigh* I know it's inevitable but I just kept hoping that it wouldn't come true so soon. At RM1.62 per litre, I had to pay around RM65.00 for a full tank. And now, with the additional RM0.30 per litre, I have to pay an additional RM12.00 for petrol and that's a total of RM77.00 for a full tank (around once a week!!)
*SCREAM*Do you know what else I can do with an additional RM12 a week!?
That's RM48.00 a month and RM576 a year!!!!
*on the brink of getting a heart attack*Think of all the books and clothes and shoes I can buy with that amount of money!! Think of how many cups of Raspberry Frappucinos I can drink!! Think of how many meals we can treat the kids from the orphanage to!!!!
At the rate this is going, I'm going to have to stop all unnecessary visits to the malls and find someone to carpool with me to class. Chin Aun is thinking of investing in a bicycle so that he can cycle to work (Imagine him in a striped shirt, a pair of khakis, work shoes and a tie flapping behind him *faint* and after recover from fainting; *laugh*)
Damn... so in order to make up for the cash spent on petrol, there are a few things I can do:

Damn... so in order to make up for the cash spent on petrol, there are a few things I can do:
- sleep till late in the afternoon, so we can save on breakfast
- go to sleep real early so can skip dinner
- hang out more at MPH/Borders/Kinokuniya so can read the books there for free so I don't have to buy them
- dilute shampoo/body wash/hand shampoo with lots of water so can use for longer period
- stop eating at the uni's canteen and start hanging out at the mamak stall beside the drain for RM0.70 Nasi Lemak instead of the RM2.80 Economy Rice
- bring laptop/mobile to uni to charge to reduce electricity wastage at home
- bring huge bottles to uni to fill up with distilled water so that can cut back on usage of water at home
- repair my broken shoes with a tube of glue by myself instead of taking it to the cobbler
- 'borrow' pens from the bank/post office
3. Dead Birds and Other Dying Birds
Birds are falling out from the sky and dropping flat onto the ground.. making disturbing "splat"-ing sounds.
Bird flu... seems that some chinese newspaper reported that a lecturer from my uni saw some dead birds and now they're afraid that the reason for that may be bird flu. Well... that's just speculation but real cases have been reported in the Setapak campus (at this point, we are all thanking our lucky stars that Setapak is so faw away!)
Mad Cow Disease... So cannot eat beef
Bird Flu... So cannot eat Chicken/Duck/Burung Puyuh
Some other disease pertaining pigs - So cannot eat pork
So what's next?!!??!
Restless Aquatics --> all aquatic lifeforms with the said disease swims around in circles, in a frenzy until all their fins fall off
Lamb Wheeze --> all infected goats/lamb/sheep develop outrageous amounts of phlegm and start hacking them up before keeling over
(I just realized how disgusting I can be...)
Then everyone has to be full time vegetarians... until someone finds something wrong with vegetation...
Then we'll probably have to resort to swallowing pills that taste like salad/fries/burgers

I accidentally tore my contacts today. When I was washing it...
I was incapable of speech was I saw the tiny turquoise fragment stuck on my index finger when the rest of it was lying in the nook of my palm.
*sigh* and I thought it was safe to wash it cos I just clipped my nails last night. I guess my nails are still 'sharp'...
RM65 down the drain... Looking on the bright side, at least it happened now instead of weeks ago when I just opened it! Hee hee... another 6 more days and it would have been a month since I last started using and it would be high time to dispose of it. Guess it just doesn't like my eyes very much. It would rather be 'torn to death' than to be inserted into my eyes for another week.
Next color = LIGHT BROWN!!! & AMETHYST???5. FYP Standstill
Why the hell am I doing, still blogging when I should be working on (or should I say, starting on?) my Final Year Project?????
I really don't know...And I don't think anyone else knows either...
I'm screwed... so so screwed. (Between us buddies, we normally use the term "ultimately f.u.c.k.e.d.", but since this is visible to everyone who has access to the Net, I'm watching my language) ;)
BUT ChinAun did say "If you get a lot of your FYP work done this Wednesday (today), Thursday and Friday, I'll take you out shopping on Saturday" <--- now... THIS is one of the best reasons for getting on with my FYP!!! Whoooopeeee!!! I wonder if he's paying for ALL purchases too??
*hopefully keeping my fingers crossed*
*toes too!!*
Everyone's so freaked out cos my FYP progress is still 0%... I am too. But I'm a chronic procrastinator and it'll take years of retail therapy (and others) to cure me.
So here's a deal; if I get an A for my FYP (under whatever cosmic circumstances), I am treating everyone to a meal and kissing my procratination "goodbye"... FOR GOOD! Haha...
:D
It's good to see such optimism in someone who's otherwise screwed...
