Watches :)

I've been blessed *grins* Aren't they beautiful???
The green one is a Winnie The Pooh watch that Chin Aun gave me for Christmas :) Don't laugh ok!! Winnie The Pooh isn't just for kids :p and the watch is really very nice!! This is my second Winnie The Pooh watch from him... The first one had metal straps.

The left one is an Esprit bangle watch that he just got for me today for Chinese New Year :) The first time I saw it was when we were in Kuantan... but I'm obviously too stingy to buy it and then he surprised me with it today!~ *wheeeeee*

Thank you so much biebie!! Even though I told you "no" and I really meant it, but it's really sweet of you anyway :) And I really do love them. You know my obsession with watches well ;) *muuuuaaaaaaaks* Love you lots...

I'm speechless...

At first I was upset… Then I was pissed… And now I just feel kinda numb, I guess. Don't really know how to feel...

Y’see, a couple of days ago, I received an email from a housemate (ex-housemate? It’s complicated!) to say that he no longer wants to rent the room. The reason why I don’t know whether to classify him as a housemate or an ex-housemate is because he actually moved out a couple of months back but he was still renting the room for his ex (she’s still occupying the room but she hasn’t been home in months. But her stuff are still there though!).

Anyhoo… I received the email from him when I smsed his ex-gf to tell her to bank in the room rent to Chin Aun cos it was overdue. Everyone’s gotta pay up by the 5th cos Chin Aun’s gotta bank the total sum to the landlord by the 7th. Since he didn’t pay yet, Chin Aun paid on his behalf first. Then he says he doesn’t want to rent anymore, therefore he doesn’t want to pay.

So I told him, you can’t just tell me that smack in the middle of the month and expect all loose ends to tie themselves up. At least give me a month’s notice and I’ve gotta find someone else and etc. So he says ok, he’ll come and meet with Chin Aun to discuss the next course of action. After many phone calls and numerous smses, he finally agreed on a time to meet with Chin Aun, which was on Tuesday at 4pm.

He came over and brought his university lecturer (who is a friend) with him, whom according to him, was there to help him clear the stuff in his room. By and by, I thought it was very nice of the lecturer.

Here’s lies the problem. Since the moment he stepped into the house, he refused to say anything! Zilch!! No words came from him at all! Then I asked him if everything was ok, whether is there anything wrong with his ex-gf and I wanted to know why she suddenly wanted to move out. He refused to answer me. I asked him to have a seat at the dining table and even brought him a chair but he totally zipped up! I was starting to feel weird and I kept asking him stuff (still no replies! No surprise here!)
And then Chin Aun told me to go into my room and do my stuff, and that he’ll settle it. Fine… Shoo me away...

So anyways, after that, Chin Aun mainly spoke to his lecturer who was totally clueless about stuff and I guess he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I mean, the idea to meet up is to settle everything in a nice manner. After all, everything is negotiable and we gotta find a way to find the best thing to do next. But what can we settle if one party refuses to say a word!?

Anyhow, then his phone rang and he told Chin Aun that his DAD wants to talk to Chin Aun. (huh?!) Anyways, his dad told Chin Aun to let him pack and that his dad would settle everything with Chin Aun later.

So Chin Aun allowed him to pack his stuff from the room and then after that Chin Aun drafted a simple MOU to state that he still owes Chin Aun the stipulated sum of rent for the month of January. With the lecturer as a witness. Chin Aun signed the doc, so did the lecturer. When this fella came out from his room, and Chin Aun told him to sign the document, he called his dad again and got his dad to call Chin Aun. And this is the climax of the story:
His dad called and threatened Chin Aun!!! He spoke in Hokkien but this is somewhere along the lines of what he said (Chin Aun told me the censored version, it seems). He told Chin Aun that his son need not sign any agreements and that by asking him to sign, Chin Aun doesn’t trust him. He then goes on to tell Chin Aun that he knows Chin Aun’s dad and that he’s got a reputation and has numerous connections and will let Chin Aun “get it” if Chin Aun continues to persist. Then he tells Chin Aun to let his son go home first and that he will come down to KL (from Penang) on Thursday to meet with Chin Aun. To let Chin Aun “get it”? Or to properly settle it?

Great huh? A story of threat(?) blackmail(?) intimidation(?) in the 21st century!! Imagine… All these while, I was in my room, totally clueless of the situation. Then when Chin Aun came and check on me, he told me everything! I was so appalled. I am a person of many words but I guess I’ve found the first thing to ever render me speechless!

For God’s sake! We are friends! Hmmm… we were friends(?) And here he is, refusing to settle minor complications in an amiable manner and instead, asking his dad to resort to making threats. Good grief! He was here for around 2 hours (give or take a little) and he NEVER SAID A WORD!! NONE AT ALL!!
I spoke to his ex-gf and asked her why she didn't tell me that she wanted to move. Even though I spoke to her on MSN, saw her on campus and even smsed her when she didn't came back home. Then she said that she told her ex and that he said he would settle it. Is this a matter of settling? I'm so confused...

What’s even more ironic is that the landlord initially didn’t want to rent the room out to a male that he doesn’t know. Seems that they are troublesome? But my friend (this guy’s ex-gf) pleaded with me and said that her then-bf is not the type of person in question. So we persisted and discussed with the landlord and although the rental was raised to accommodate this, but everything was fine. We even had a deal that we would stay the full 2 years to avoid complications.

I just feel so weird… We’re not even talking about someone who is a stranger. This is someone we laugh and talk with. Someone that we’ve even helped when he was going through a rough patch in his relationship. Go figure? This brings new meaning to the saying “Biting the hand that feeds you”.

So, to everyone’s who’s reading this… How shall Chin Aun go about settling this issue? (He refused to let me be involved) Any suggestions? I don’t want anyone to get hurt

I guess one MAJOR lesson learnt here:
Trust No One (yeah! X-Files!!) You think you know them but you’ll never know what someone is capable of. Unless of course, you really know that person J I’ve had my fair share of meeting people like that, but of course I have been blessed with friends that are dearer than all the treasures in the world.

I guess it’s just that feeling of being disgruntled… the feeling’s still here. But I’m no longer pissed. Maybe still a little upset though… But I do know one thing’s for sure, there’s still this feeling deep inside that can be likened to the bitter aftertaste that lingers in your mouth after you take medication.

Help Needed!!

I need help!!! Anyone knows how to shrink a pair of pants that's 100% cotton?! I've tried using hot water when washing but it doesn't seem to work *groan* The first time I wear it after washing it feels just right, then the second time I wear it, it doesn't fit so nicely anymore *cry*
Tried looking on the Internet for ideas... but most of it includes spinning the clothing in the dryer (in high temperature!) and I don't have a dryer!!!
I LOVE MY PANTS!! Someone pleeeeeease teach me how I can go about settling this!!

Why

It's not supposed to feel this way
I need you I need you
More and more each day...
It's not supposed to hurt this way
I need you I need you I need you
Tell Me
It's not supposed to hurt this way
I need you I need you
More and more each day...
It's not supposed to hurt this way
I need you I need you I need you

New Year in Kuantan

You must be thinking... "huh?!" haha... Actually, my sister's husband, Daniel, is from Kuantan and so all of us (that would be me, Chin Aun, my sis, Daniel, my cousin, my parents and my aunt) went there for the New Year!~ Daniel's parents organized some post-wedding luncheon in the church that Daniel grew up in.
Anyways, it wasn't a very happening place (look who's talking! :p It's not like I am such a happening person to begin with!~ *grins*) BUT it was fun and it was relaxing and there was no traffic there!!~ Except the time when we went for Ikan Bakar and there was some JPN roadblocks to check the cars. It was cool cos there were many motorcyclists who were hiding behind trees a couple of meters before the roadblock! Hehe...
Some great stuff to note about Kuantan:
(1) Teluk Chempedak (the beach is so great!! I went there on both days!)
(2) Satay Zul (the beef satay was to die for! yum! But of course, I am a "beef" person, so my opinion's probably biased)
(3) Smooth traffic
Here are some photos taken in Kuantan...

The photos that we took of Teluk Chempedak :) nice leh?

This is a photo of me and Chin Aun against the setting sun :) Can hardly see my face, but I guess it doesn't really matter cos I look like crap anyway...

MY FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND!~

Haha... I had to exert so much pressure to make my footprints as prominent as possible for it to look OBVIOUS in the photo! I was so red in the face after that *phew*

~SATAY ZUL~

Because I really like the satay, so the photo of it is bigger than the other photos posted here :p see? that's 10 sticks of Chicken Satay, 10 sticks of Beef Satay and 5 sticks of Mutton Satay *yum*

We actually had Satay on our first day there but we liked it so much that we went again the very next day. It was raining so heavily but we actually (in this case, we means me, Chin Aun and my cousin) went anways! At 11:30pm *grins* insane!~ All in all... it was a pretty fun trip *grins*

There wasn't much celebration of the new year in Kuantan... either that or we didn't know where to go. There were fireworks though! And there was a countdown along the Pahang River which was right beside the hotel that we were staying in. There was also this bistro in the hotel (I guess it was the one that organized the countdown) and it was filled with people... young people. Old people like us stayed in the room and shouted the countdown from the window *grins*

Belated Christmas Treat

On boxing day (Dec 26th), my sis and Daniel, treated Chin Aun and I to a sumptuous buffet at Shogun (subsidiary of Saisaki *grins*) that has just opened up at 1-Utama. We actually had to wait in line to get in! My sis wanted to make reservation earlier but the person-in-charge that she talked to there said that all seats allocated for reservation were taken upa already. The place opens for dinner at 6:30pm and the line was already kinda long at 6:10pm! *phew*
We got in anyways! haha... The spread was so good! The sushi! The sashimi!! *yum*! Teppanyaki and Tempuras never really did a thing for me, so I went for the sake sashimi!~ I snapped a couple of photos after dinner (cos I was too full and I needed the walkaround! haha) while some people looked at me suspiciously! *grins* I couldn't be bothered. Anyways...

On the left:- Salmon Sushi~! :) My fav dish at Sushi King and Genki...
On the right:- Raw Salmon and Tuna *drools* my mom would faint to see me eating this in front of her :p she can't tolerate anything raw...

On the left:- Boiled Snails for dessert, anyone? I'm too chicken to try...
On the right:- ALOE VERA!! My fav!! haha... I had TWO servings of this~! *grins*

My Bukit Tinggi Christmas

Chin Aun took me Horseback Riding at Bukit Tinggi for my Christmas present!!! *wheeeee* Chin Aun rode on a horse named Buddy and mine's Bonny *swoon*... they're just so beautiful... and so docile... so sweet... and so obedient... they're so everything nice :p

Some more photos of horses :D

The photo on the left is of Bonita, Bonny's little mare :) and the photo on the right is of Lorraine, the horse trainer, saddling Midnight.

The best part of Bukit Tinggi is, of course, the horses!

But, aside from that, Chin Aun also took me to a rabbit farm :D We met Sher Mein, Hong Hong, Chun Seng and some other friends as well. What a coincidence eh?

And we went target shooting, did some archery, went to the Japanese Tea Garden and walked around Colmar Tropicale. We stayed in the "Dahlia" block of Colmar Tropicale and it's so darned expensive!! Basically, everything is so expensive there! It's a French-themed place right down to the customer service :p Chin Aun got the tickets for the Gala Dinner and it's RM68 per person! and the food is so limited... but the atmosphere was very festive though ;) hehe... This is a photo of us at dinner, where we met this really nice couple with 5 kids! Whoa!

Zeeks came around 5pm (Sher Mein invited him and he's supposed to meet with her and the rest of the gang here) but we were napping so we only managed to catch up with him after dinner. Where we *ahem* rescued him because he left his car elsewhere! haha... Actually... I'm kinda lazy to write so I'll just upload a few more photos and let them do the talking :p hehe

This is Colmar Tropicale in the afternoon... the sky was dark, but it was still afternoon!

This is the night view of Colmar ... from 3 storeys up!!

This is a photograph taken at the gala dinner. Didn't manage to take photos of the stage (because it was away from our table and we were too lazy to walk there!) or the food (too many people!)

This is the stairway leading from the main entrance of Colmar to a pond with 2 pairs of swans (one pair white, the other pair black)... Looks good at night! Hehe...

The picture on the left: Zeeks, Me and Chin Aun, posing at 12am (it's Christmas!~ *wheeeeeee*)

The picture on the right: Sher Mein's bf, Sher Mein, Zeeks (what in the world is he doing?!), Me (yakking on the phone with Sue - exchanging Christmas greetings *grins*) and Chin Aun

Bie, thank you so much for taking me there *hugs* you know I love horses and I can't wait for our next trip up! Hehe... Just for horseback riding this time! (we really have to save up!) *wink* *muuuuaaaaaaks* Love you... and Merry Christmas!! :D

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Stripes

Maybe it's addiction... Maybe it's infatuation... Maybe it's even love :p But whatever it is... I'm sooooo into it right now! Stripes rule!!! Okok... Just the vertical stripes. And maybe some assymetrical stripes... But horizontal stripes really doesn't do it for me... *yuck* they are soooooo out.

I love the corporate look... especially on men *ahem* and thus , with the additon of stripes into the male corporate look? Viola!~ That just spells Perfection~!

I've been looking and shopping around and currently the top 3 choices for the male corporate look plus stripes would be Topshop (Topman), G2000 and Dockers (nice pants! haha...). Some controversial issues regarding brands like Topman would be that it can be pretty chavvy. Well, I think most of the casual line IS kinda chav and scally but the work wear absolutely rocks! *drool* But then, of course, there's the controversial issue of whether one can pull it off, or not. Some people look great in it, while it does nothing for the rest. So, know which category you belong to before you invest! *winks* If you fall into the former category, stripes is an expensive but nevertheless a rewarding investment! *grins*
I can't pry myself away from those places and it's killing me! It's so expensive and yet I can't stop messing around with Chin Aun's wardrobe. BUT the good thing is... He likes stripes too! *grins* And he looks good in it (Maybe I'm biased, but so what?! :p)!~ Of course, with a little pastel colors infused with the stripes, the shirts look good enough to be eaten! *yum*

Therefore, in conclusion, corporate men are hot and the stripes just add to the heat.
Oh, corporate slave me...

Duty Free Goodies

Chin Aun went to Langkawi on Sunday (a 4 day 3 nights thingie) for his company's Annual Sales & Marketing Conference and lookie what he got for me!~ A sling-bag, a little sea-shell purse, a bracelet with tiny dolphins, 2 little thingies (I don't know what to call them!! One's red and the other's pink) and a whole load of chocolates! arwghhhhh!! Pimple seeds! Haha.. But if we're talking about chocs, I really do love M&M's, Toblerone and Ritter Sport (esp. the non-halal Rum & Raisin one!). There's another tiramisu-flavoured choc that he bought that I didn't add into the photo cos it's been halfway devoured :p
Thanks for much for the goodies, bie bie. But next time no need to buy ler... *muuuuaaaaaks*

Blind

I would fall asleep
Only in hopes of dreaming
That everything
Would be like it was before
But nights like this
It seems are slowly fleeting
They disappear as reality is crashing the floor

After all this time
I never thought we'd be here
Never thought we'd be here
When my love for you was blind
But I couldn't make you see it
Couldn't make you see it
That I loved you more
Then you will ever know
And part of me died
When I let you go

Dirty Little Secret

Let me know that I've done wrong
When I've known this all along
I go around a time or two
Just to waste my time with you
Tell me all that you've thrown away
Find out games you don't wanna play
You are the only one that needs to know

I'll keep you my dirty little secret (Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret (Just another regret)
My dirty little secret
Who has to know?

When we live such fragile lives
It's the best way we survive
I go around a time or two
Just to waste my time with you
Tell me all that you've thrown away
Find out games you don't wanna play
You are the only one that needs to know

I'll keep you my dirty little secret (Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret (Just another regret)
My dirty little secret
Who has to know?

The way she feels inside
Those thoughts I can't deny
These sleeping dogs won't lie
And all I've tried to hide
It’s eating me apart
Trace this line back

I'll keep you my dirty little secret (Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret (Just another regret)

Who has to know?

Daniel & Adeline

My sister's married...
hehe... I can't believe it. We've been planning her wedding since early this year and the day is finally here!!! gosh!!!
In Cyberjaya (4th December 2005)
The wedding ceremony was held on the 4th of December at Cyberview Lodge in Cyberjaya and it was the most beautiful wedding ceremony I've ever been to (don't mind me if I sound biased :p). My sister's the most beautiful bride I have ever seen *teary eyed*
First, there was the "Tea Ceremony" which was held at 3pm, then there was the "Solemnization" at 5pm in the garden and finally the "Dinner/Reception" at 7pm.
We were blessed with great weather and even a rainbow!!
So many people came... even my old time buddy, Zeeks *grins* hehe... He's never gonna see this, so it doesn't matter if I upload his picture here :p
Oh yeah... if anyone's wondering why my hair and face is all dolled up, it's because I was the maid-of-honor/bridesmaid... hahaha... Boon Wei is the other bridesmaid ;) and while I looked rather silly, Boon Wei looked absolutely gorgeous!!! Look at how puny my eyes are!!! *cry*
This is me and my supposed "bestest" friend, Zeeks. Wahlau... can't believe I've known him for over 7 years already. 7 years of verbal sparring... How in the world could I have managed to endure him for so long??? And vice versa! hehe... Only God knows.. I'm so glad he took the time to come though he was so busy.. *sniff sniff*
This photo is taking after the solemnization in the garden...
This photo of my sis and daniel was taken when they were entering into the ballroom for the wedding dinner/reception *grin* nice leh? hehe...
During the dinner, I met so many relatives, I didn't even know who was who. And everyone kept commenting on my hair (thanks to Ling!! she's great with hair!!) and there were so many comments running along the lines of "ooohhh... you look so Japanese" (what Japanese!?!?) and "your hair so nice, you look so cute". BAH!!! sheesh... who wants to look cute at 23?!?!? Somebody please save me *cry*
This is a shot of ChinAun and I during the dinner... I've changed out of my maid-of-honor's top and into something ORANGE *whoa* which is sooooooooo unlike me :p hahaha....
ChinAun was so sweet that day.. helping out with all the photo taking and running of errands and basically keeping everything and everyone under control *hugs* thank you so so much bie... *muuuuuuaks*
And on the right, is a photo of me, Zeeks, Jiun and Boey during the dinner. Jiun and Boey were so sweet also... and so supportive. Being there for us since early in the morning until late at night *hugs* thank you both so so much!!! And thank you both also for making it to the dinner in Penang as well.. :)
And this would be David, my new "brother". It's a package deal, he comes with Daniel :p hahaha... He played the sax that night during the dinner. His performance is supposedly his wedding gift to Daniel and my sister :) but he was good... Zeeks was so impressed *grins*
In Penang (6th december 2005)

Anyways, my parents chartered a bus with Konsortium and took everyone of us back to Penang on Monday. The wedding dinner in Penang (a more informal dinner) was held at Jade Palace restaurant. Most of the people who went were relatives of the family and friends of my parents as well as friends of my sister and Daniel. But I was so happy because Jiun and Boey went also, and so did Mel and Ding, Mei Wei and Gim as well as Li Nee and Phyo *grins* 3 of my closest friends... gosh... I missed them so so much and I was so happy to see them. But we hardly had any time to talk cos I was busy running around helping my sister... Managed to snap some photos with them though! *grins*
Me and Li Nee!~ My partner in crime for many many years... I can share anything and everything with this girl. She'll never get shocked by anything that I do and vice versa. She brings out the devil in me *grin* hahaha... She'll do anything and everything with me and I miss her so damned much when I am in KL. Li Nee, if you ever read this, I just wanna let you know that I miss you so much and I wish you were here with me in KL so that we can continue the insanity that we left off in Penang... *hugs* love you lots girl...
And this is a picture of me and Mei Wei. The most happy-go-lucky girl that I have known in my whole life. Hehe... Got to know her in Form2 when she came to PG from KL and we've been buddies ever since. But the thing is, whenever I'm in KL, she in PG and when I'm in PG, she's in KL!!! *scream* that's why we can never get to meet up!!! until my sister's wedding.. Mei, I'm so glad you came and I'm so glad Gim came *hugs* come back to KL to visit me before I rot!!!
And finally, a picture of me and Mel *grin* my oldest buddy ever!!!! She looks prettier and prettier by the day *envious* Mel, I'm so glad that you came *hugs* and I'm also so glad that Ding came also!! I haven't seen him in eons!! and remember what he promised us!! *wink* hehe... we'll do what we want and the bill's on him *grin*
All in all, I'm just so happy to see all you guys cos I miss you all so much when I'm in KL *cry* life isn't the same without you all... sniff sniff...
During the ceremony, I hard to blink hard to push back all the tears. Heck, I don't even know why I felt like crying to begin with. But that night, when I went back home and my sister wasn't around, I couldn't sleep. Though she's often not at home, but this time it's different. Funny ya? I'm gonna miss my sister a lot...
Anyways, here's to her and Daniel *hugs* love you guys lots and wishing you many years of bliss and happiness and try to have some kids soon cos I'm getting kinda bored in KL :p (I just hope my sis doens't read this...)

A Busy Day

My sister's big day is drawing closer and we're all excited yet nervous. Still so many things to do!!!

Anyways, we went for a manicure and pedicure this afternoon at Kimarie in Taipan, Subang Jaya. She had french manicure and pedicure while I did simple nail art. So now, there's a tiny butterfly on nail of both my ring fingers as well as my big toe! haha... Cute though! The girls there who did our nails for us were very chatty and very nice too ;) My sis even signed up for a package!

Then we went to Cyberview for the wedding rehearsal. I really don't know how I am going to walk that day. I just hope that I don't fall flat on my face! :p Just gotta keep my fingers crossed. AND after that, we went to Sunway Pyramid (where I got my piercing) to buy some last minute stuff. I didn't know what to get for Daniel, so in the end bought him a luggage bag. And this is where I found the bag that I've been looking for all these while!! *beam* Look at it!! the PERFECT bag for my lappie *grins* It's not too big, (like those huge backpacks) it's black~! and it's a Samsonite *grins* (what else could a girl as for???) I've been dying to get a Samsonite bag for my lappie and looks like I finally got my wish~!

And somehow, the shopaholic in my just emerged and I bought a skirt and a pair of socks from Esprit as well as a pair of sandals... Hohoho... I am so broke now... But it's worth it, I guess. After today, I think my shopping activities have got to come to an immediate halt... Otherwise, I'm gonna have to eat sand for the following weeks...

My final one...

Notice anything different in this photo from the photo in the previous post??? *grins*

I got YET another piercing today!!! *BIGGER GRIN*

And now although I'm no longer even but I'm complete (well, at least I FEEL complete). When I came home, I just asked Chin Aun to look at my ear and all he could tell me is that I've successfully rendered him speechless :p Told him not toworry though, this is my final ear piercing. I don't intend to get any more done (I think...)

This is my left ear, by the way. I didn't get another one on my right ear cos I don't feel like wanting to be even. Need some assymetries! I don't even know why I did it cos I actually intended to do it a month from now. Ah well...

I think I'm in love with my own ear. I've been staring at this photo for the past 10 minutes and I still can't stop...
