And I did it again~

I did it on my left ear this time... hehehe... now I am wondering how I am going to sleep tonite... hmmmm... I think I have to lie down on my back instead of sleeping on my side ;)

I can't believe it... I wanted to get 2 shots at the same time but I was afraid that it would be painful so I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait until next month. Then I'm gonna get another one on top of this one *grins* I CAN'T WAIT!!! hehehe...
This is the only thing that's keeping me going in these dire times...
Do you think anyone can ever get addicted to piercing?!?

I finally did it!!!

I did it!~ I finally did it!~!!! *grins*
I'm so happy... hehe... I finally got my cartilage pierced!!! My right cartilage... ahem... It's also known as helix piercing...

I've always been wanting to do it but I chicken out every time. Instead, I always get my ear lobes pierced and since I already have 3 on each lobe, I've decided to stop being such a big chicken and come right out to do it!! hehe...

I was so scared that it was going to hurt that I kept putting it off. Until last night. I figured if I want it, then might as well go and get it done. To hell with regrets. It didn't hurt at all :) One of my friends told me once that if we are feeling any emotional pain, we wouldn't be feeling the physical pain so much. But am I going through any emotional distress, that I am not aware of? I don't know... Maybe my pain-threshold has increased ;) for someone who's so scared of pain (I still maintain that I am allergic to pain, no matter what anyone says!) this is a great achievement!!!

Come to think of it, the only time I cried while piercing was when I was 5 years old. My first piercing. Then I got my second piercing when I was doing my diploma and I was upset that I got a C for accounting that I decided to do something out of the ordinary. My second piercing, that was. My third piercing was when I first came down to KL. THAT time I was REALLY distressed, which would explain why I didn't feel tha pain at all? I'll never know... Then one of the holes closed up cos I dropped my earring and I went back to the shop and got it re-pierced. And still it didn't hurt. Was anything bothering me then? I don't remember... And finally, today. I pierced my cartilage. And it didn't hurt... So... what's the deal?

To everyone who's reading this... Do you think it's true what my old friend said? The following is her statement:
"You won't feel so much of the pain physically if you're already hurting inside"

I don't know if it's true... what do you think? *ponder ponder*
If it's true, then the next time I get emotionally hurt, I'm piercing my navel *grins*

PS: Sue, stop being mad at me... I promise that I'll get my next one done with you. I think I'll get one either above or below the current one in around a month from now? *winks* I'm addicted...

Some gifts...

I went shopping with my sister for some last minute wedding stuff (she's getting married this weekend!!! hehehe) and we came across this little shop in Sunway Pyramid that sells ethnic looking clothing. I tried on this dress but since I'm currently lacking in the fiscal department, I've decided not to buy it, even though I love it. My darling sister then offered to pay half of the total amount~! Wheeeeeeee~! I'm so happy~! I love my dress!!! Thank you so much, Cher~! In addition to that, she treated me to a spa facial this morning while she got hers done *grins* Thanks so so much!~
And... This is a photo of my hair in a ponytail.. (it's been ages since I tried my hair!! Feels like old school days *winks*) and the sweet purple ribbon on it is a gift from dear Jiun (who thinks that I should keep in touch with what's left of my "sweet" side before it dissipates completely *grins*) isn't that sweet of her? ;) I haven't had a ribbon in my hair since 3-4 years back when I got twin ribbons (christmas colored ribbons) from Melissa (Mel, if you are reading this, I still have those ribbons at home!! And I still love them *hugs*).. hehe... Thanks so much dear Jiun!~

Dinner at Saisaki

ChinAun finally took me to dinner at Saisaki~! hahahaha... We've been wanting to go for so long already and we kept putting it off.I love sushi and sashimi as much as bees love honey. We went immediately after he came home from work and though he was very tired and had a pending presentation the next day, he still took me all the way to town, traffic jam and all (awww.... *sniff sniff* Thank you bie~! *muuaaks* Love you so much...)

The service there was pretty good and the food was great!! hahaha... I only managed to snap ONE miserable photo of the food cos after we dug in, we forgot about taking photos already! hehe...
See the sake sashimi and the unagi on my plate? hahaha...
But we did take some more pictures after eating though! *winks* We HAD to do something cos we were too stuffed for words, so what better to do than to snap photos, right? ;)
Hmmm... I wonder when's the next time we're gonna go back? *grins*

My new sunnies!

*drool*
Isn't it gorgeous?!!? *starry eyed*

I asked my cousin to get it from me from US (don't happen to see any Tommy Hilfiger sunnies around here!) She asked me what color sunnies I wanted and I HAD to say purple~! I already have a pinkish one (rose colored??) which I bought early this year for a whopping RM300 (insanity knows no bounds!!! Why on earth are sunglasses always so darned expensive?!?!) Anyways, she managed to get this for under USD100 and it's a steal~!

I love it so much... hahaha...

A woman on the edge...

On the edge of a soon-to-burst blood vessel! hahahaha...
*ahem*
A couple of days back, I met this lady who's a friend of my aunt. I was staying at one of the service apartments that she owned for a few nights with my aunt, Aunt Monica (also a friend of my aunt), my cousin from US and her boyfriend, from Korea. Anyways, this lady is quite something!!
She is very nice to all of us (for courtesy's sake? goodness knows...) taking us to lunch, dinner, and etc. But on Monday, on the way to dinner at Oversea Restaurant, we had to drop by KLCC to pick up my cousin, her bf and Chin Aun. The roads were pretty packed then and the lady was getting very irritated. She was driving. Anyways, she was going straight and there was a Mercedes S Class parked right next to her (contributing to the traffic jam!) and a red new Honda City on her right when we all reached a bottleneck in the road. The man in the Honda City accelerated, to show the lady that he wasn't gonna give way. I think this made the lady snap cos she accelerated too (she was driving a Mercedes E-Class). At this point, the S-Class on the left, the lady's car and the Honda were barely inches from each other! And still the Honda and the lady both refused to give in!! And the continued accelerating!! (At this point, I wanted to faint) The side mirror of the lady's car scraped her S-Class on the left and she decided that although this fella is blocking traffic by parking there, she'd rather bang the Honda. So she swerved a little to the right and scraped the side of the Honda. What was worse was that after she scraped the Honda, she stopped and let the Honda overtake her before she accelerated to scrape the Honda again (I believe she did this intentionally cos she scraped it 3 times!) Then she stopped her car beside the Honda and called the driver a "filthy bastard". And all the while, the poor guy in the S-Class could only stare at her open-mouthed (I think he was lost.. didn't know what to do). Then she accelerated and overtook the Honda. The guy in the Honda was pissed cos he pressed his horn and refused to let go and started tailgating the lady. Then she braked suddenly and the Honda has to emergendy brake too! And all the while, the guy in the Honda wouldn't stop honking!! And then the lady decided that she'd stop moving and parked herself right in front of the Honda. The traffic in front of us cleared and still she refused to budge. The guy in the Honda had to stop honking before she starting moving again.
Aunt Monica then proceeded to tell us of another time when this lady got a summon from the traffic police for speeding (or something!). Seems that she was having a bad day because after the policeman handed her the summon, she looked at him, ripped the summon apart and threw it out of the window at his feet and drove off.
At this point, I could only gape at her open-mouthed. I mean, some people say that I can be kinda mean when I want to, but I think I look like a saint next to her.
This was a very interesting experience because I have never quite met anyone like her. She scares me. Let me put it this way... I'll never have constipation with her around because she scares the shit out of me!!
On a lighter note, we reached Oversea Restaurant in one piece and the lady was so nice to all of us. Dinner was her treat along with a bottle of wine. I managed to snap some photos too :) (none with her in it!!)
The photo on the left is a photo of me and Chin Aun (with Chin Aun looking very stuffed! haha...
And the photo on the right is of my cousin and her Korean bf ;) Hehe...
I hope she never finds out that I posted her photo here or I am so gonna get it from her...

In Penang With Sue

I went back to Penang on Wednesday with Sue :D haha... we came back on Saturday morning with my aunt.
Anyways, on the way back to Penang, our bus crashed into a lorry. Good thing we are still very much alive and kicking~! hehe... It wasn't serious. The lorry cut out into the fast lane without indication and the bus couldn't stop in time. The front of the bus was smashed up and the windows cracked and the door was smashed too. But we didn't feel much except a jolt and a ringing in the ears when the crash occured. The driver was pretty pissed though! I wonder if he got hurt? hmmm... I wanted to take a photo of the bus but there wasn't time cos we had to cross on the other side of the highway where another bus was waiting and it was raining!!
Back in Penang, I took Sue to the Teluk Bahang Dam, the Beach, Youth Park (Boey's place!! hahaha), Esplanade, Batu Ferringhi, Gurney Drive and Gurney Plaza and took her to eat yummy local food! hahaha... but I think the thing that we did the most there was laugh, laugh and laugh. She kept trying to take photos of me sleeping but I caught her everytime!! She managed to get a photo of me sleeping on the bus on the way back to KL though! *grrr*
We were fooling about so much on the bus ride back to KL that I think my aunt gave up on the both of us. Hehe... The photo in this post was taken on the way back when we were laughing ourselves silly!~
Anyways, Sue, hope that you had a good time in Penang... let me know when you want to go back there again and I'll be more than glad to accompany you :)
*hugs*

Recent Events

*phew* so many things have happened lately but I couldn't blog about it cos I wasn't finished with the "Hotties Campaign". Now that it's over, here are some of the stuff that I wanted to write about:

1. Hot Pot

Went for hot pot a few days before I went back to Penang with Chin Aun for the Raya Hols.. Before the hot pot, we went to 1-U: I got some shopping done (damn!) with Boey accompanying me while Sue, Cyn and Cin went for movies. Hot Pot was supposed to be a "Girls Night Out" until Cin's darling joined us! Haha... We were absolutely insane that nite and the people there must have been so amused by our antics :p and I think after that outing, Boey is so gonna distance herself from the rest of us...
Let's start with some decent photos first:

Followed by some kissing photos... (the final pic at the bottom is where Sue and I attempted to kiss Boey without her realizing :p just to irritate her... it's fun when she gets irritated!! haha)

And now... some photos of us feeding each other (lame attempts to imitate the tender loving care between Cin and Ah Lok!)
The original version:

The imitation *grin* (we were good!!!):

And now... some pictures that would be censored by the Malaysian Censorship Board *ahem*:

2. Trip to Genting

I went to Genting with Chin Aun and his sister before we went back to Penang =) it was so fun!~ I never knew so much shopping could be done up there in Genting!! hahaha... I went to the casinos too and got stopped for IC check every time!! sheesh... got so sick of the police there... We spent 2 nites there but we couldn't visit the theme park cos it was raining there for 3 days consecutively!! Chin Aun got me a nice woolen shawl (it's purple!) and his sister got me a pair of matching earrings *grin* so sweet of them ya? *hugs* & *muuaaks*
Then Chin Aun and I also went to watch this live show, called Extreme where there are balancing acts, dancing, motorcycles in an enclosed space... *shudder* I was so nervous watching them performing on stage...
Some photos (L-R): ChinAun and I (see the nice woolen shawl he got for me around my neck? *grin*), me in a windblown frenzy, Chin Aun and his sister

3. Home Sweet Home

Ahhh... Penang again. How I love my home *grin* there's absolutely nothing NOT to like at home... hehe... Saw little Yang Yue at Chin Aun's house and taught him a few words *beam* I feel so proud of myself!! Also managed to meet Bee Sung and Lee but that's all cos I was busy shopping for a lappie *grin* Got some lovely stuff when I went back, like a turqoise suede belt from my darling Jie (*hugs* thank you so much!! You always give me the prettiest things) and of course, my new baby, my new Toshiba Satellite Lappie! Wheeee~! It's gorgeous! and it's green!! And so many misc stuff that my darling mommy got for me from her recent trip to China (I miss my mom *sobs*) I even did shopping in Penang (double damn!! I'm quitting... I swear it!!)
Here are some pictures (L-R): My newest baby *grin* (isn't it beautiful??? if you must know, my other babies include my phone, my digital camera, my ipod and of course, my bie!! hahaha..), the belt my darling Jie gave me.. I love it~! *muuuaks*

Some photos taken with Bee Sung and Lee at Coffee Bean... We were chillin'~! (with the exception of the time when Lee pinched my nose so hard, she made my cry *sobs* gotta find a way for sweet revenge *grrr*) Hehe..

4. Back in KL

And I'm back in KL... with my mom and dad *yay* hehehe... Chin Aun, my parents and I drove back together where I was either sleeping or singing in the car *grins* hehe... Anyways, took my parents to the few limited places that I know how to go and I managed to find my way to this yummy curry mee shop in Taman OUG *beam* I feel so proud of myself!!! Jiun and Boey were with me that day and they witnessed the entire amazing feat!
Other than that, I also met up with some aunties and uncles with my parents for brunch at The Mandarin Palace Restaurant in Federal Hotel. Chin Aun, my sis and Daniel went also. So many people!! Don't even remember some of their names!! Hehe... but a bunch of very nice people :)
I went to Bangsar and saw some nice bracelets and got one for each of us (me, Jiun and Boey) and Jiun and Boey also gave me a bangle (they know I love accessories to bits! haha..) which totally matches this dolphin ring that I have on my thumb!! I love it!! Thank you both! *muuaaks*
The photos *grin* :
left - 3 of us wearing the bracelets. Mine has 2 butteflies in pink, Jiun has one butterfly in pink, and Boey's has a heart in green (Jiun & I love pink, Boey loves green!)
middle - the dolphin bangle that they gave to me :) pretty eh?
right - some phone accessory that Jiun got for me *hugs* thanks so much! she knew that the one I am using now is totally getting discoloured and got me another one that was almost exactly alike except mine's got a bell with a dolphin on it *grin* I like this one too... I like pink stuff I guess.. hehe

November's Chopin

Jay's back and booming *grins* hahaha...
This album is entitled "November's Chopin", released coincidentally on the 1st of November to commemorate the great classical musician, Frederic Chopin with his famous piece "Nocturne". No other composer was ever as exclusively devoted to the piano as Chopin was. Anyways, more about Jay, less about Chopin :p
There are a total of 12 tracks in the album and the last two are taken from the Soundtrack of the movie "Initial D". Wish I could write something about the songs, except I can't read and can't write Chinese, so everyone'll just have to settle for a little less.

(I took the liberty to google this!!! And it's not like I can read it... sheesh)

1) 夜曲 (Ye qu)
2) 蓝色风暴 (Lan se feng bao)
3) 发如雪 (Fa ru xue)
4) 黑色毛衣 (Hei se mao yi)
5) 四面楚歌 (Si mian chu ge)
6) 枫 (Feng)
7) 浪漫手机 (Lang man shou ji)
8) 逆鳞 (Ni lin)
9) 麦芽糖 (Mai ya tang)
10) 珊瑚海 (feat. Lara) (Shan hu hai)
11) 飘移 (Piao yi)
12) 一路向北 (Yi lu xiang bei)

I like tracks no. 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 10 *grin* Liking 6 out of 10 tracks (not inclusive of the 2 from the soundtrack of "Initial D") means that we can go ahead and buy the album and not regret..

I especially like track no. 7... has got a little RnB and soul to it... not too pop, if you know what I mean.

Oh, and I saw some new pictures of Jay on the Internet and he's just gotten pierced *grins* Now, all he has to do is get a nice tattoo somewhere on his beautiful abs and it'll all be perfect! haha~!
Trust me... This is a totally unbiased review *winks*

BeeSung's List

the final list.. *grin*
I know that it has taken me so darned long to finish posting all these but I have been busy! I can imagine the look of disbelief on some of your faces because even I don't know what I am so busy with!! haha...
Anyways, the final female contributor is non other than my one and only darling god-sis, Bee Sung!! *hugs* A little about her... She works in Bosch, where I got to know her! And she looks really quiet and innocent but until you get to know her, you'll never be able to see the nuttiness in her *grins* (which explains why we can knock it off so well!! haha) Like me, she loves pretty things, talking, being crazy, SHOPPING, sushi and good looking men *ahem* So here's her list plus a little of her own 'commentary'... (sentences in Italics are her comments :P)

1. Jared Leto

"My number 1 guy is of course.......*drumroll* - JARED LETO!!!! I guess you are rolling your eyes right now, eh? Hehhehehheeee...... i'm a very loyal fan.... I love him! I love him! I LOVE HIM!!!!! Ahem..... did I get carried away a little bit? *blush*"

2. Johnny Depp

"My number 2 guy.........*another drumroll please* - JOHNNY DEPP!!!! Hehheheee........ what can i say? He's just hot, hot, HOT!!! Have you seen "From Hell"? You must watch it!!! You will get dehydrated at the end of the movie due to too much drooling!!!!"

The rest are in no random order because BeeSung found it too difficult to rank them *ahem*

Numbers 3-10

Viggo Mortensen

"ARAGORN!!! Have you seen "A Perfect Murder"? He looks pretty hot in that too!"

Guy Pearce

"I just love him in "Memento' - a very brilliant movie (the story was told backward). I don't know whether you have heard of him but he's also in "LA Confidential" and "Time Machine" as well. Unfortunately he's now concentrating on Australian movies so my chances of seeing him on the big screen is ruined!!!!"

Brad Pitt

"I love him in 'Interview with the Vampire' and 'Legends of the Fall'. I prefer him to have long hair. Oh, I hate the fact that he dumps Jennifer for Angelina!!!! *throw tomato at him*"

Sorry Jie dear... I couldn't find a nice photo of him from "Interview with the Vampire" or "Legends of the Fall" but here's one of him in shades and a coat *grin*

James Franco

"Harry in "Spiderman". Who can resist his brooding & smoldering looks in "Spiderman 2"? I so hope that he's going to kill Peter Parker! He plays 'James Dean' in a tv movie too and won himself a golden globe for best actor in tv movie/miniseries. Great huh?"

Eric Bana

"Hector in "Troy" =P"
(I think she is running out of words already! haha..)

Ioan Gruffudd

"Lancelot in "King Arthur". DId you see a pattern here? I love guys from those epic movies, isn't it? =P"

This is what she said for the last two candidates for her hottie list *grin* I have a feeling that she is going to kill me when I go back to Penang...

--> "This japanses actor whose name i don't know how to pronounce and spell in English!!! UGH!!! He plays a student who falls in love with the teacher in high school and both of them run away together despite all the objection and everything. UGH! I don't even know the title of this drama in english!"

--> "My dog SILKY!!!! Hahhahhaaa........... I just couldn't resist this!!!

" By the way, I am not going to further justify her insanity by putting up a picture of her dog here :p so there! She's just doing this to spite me...

So, this is her list... Bee Sung, I can't believe that you left out the ever so hot River Phoenix!!! *grrr* Anyways, I'll see you when I get back okies? Miss you and love you lots! Send my love to Sally and Lee and Karen *muuuuuaks*

Now that all the hottie-lists are done with, I have so many stuff to blog about! hahaha... So many things to say, so little time...

May Chwyn's List

Time to go back to hotties~! *grin*
After a few awful days and a week of fun and relaxation, it's back to appreciating all the males again *grin* our female contributor for today is none other than May Chwyn, one of my fellow bananas from the days at TAR College! *hugs* May Chwyn and I were the only bananas in the class, and that would inevitably mean that we stuck to each other and found solace in each other! *grins* Here's to us, May Chwyn *cheers*

Anyways, a little bit more about her before I proceed with the list... May Chwyn's currently working at Sanyo in Penang and she's been faithfully emailing me EVERYDAY during my bored days in Bosch. And we always meet up to make Jwo Huei's life miserable *grin* cos he has the misfortune of being our 'little brother' so we make it a point to give him advice and tips on how to score with girls as well as to impose our (not appreciated) opinions about his hair cut, hair color and etc. May Chwyn's very much like me as we love music and we love dogs! *grin* but most of all... WE LOVE SHOPPING!! We are hopeless shopaholics... anyways, May Chwyn, here's your list!

1. Keanu Reeves

Ahh... a name that I recognize from my own list *grin* May Chwyn ranked him no. 1!! Not bad eh? He looks so cool... I don't understand how he does it but he always manages to pull it off! Either that or I like men with coats and shades...

2. Ashton Kutcher

Pretty boy!!! I can never erase the image of him as Michael Kelso in "That 70's Show". In the words of Red Forman "What a dumbass!!!" haha... But what a pretty pretty dumbass.. I think it was "That 70's Show" that shot him to stardom and look at him now, married to Demi Moore!

3. Tom Cruise

Another familliar name that keeps cropping up... I didn't post anymore pics of him in his vampirish glory as Lestat but chose a decent scruffy pic instead *wink* Scruff's the word!

4. Rupert Everett

This is a name that never came up before. Looks like May Chwyn's taste differs a little from me *grin* Anyways, I first saw him in "Inspector Gadget: The Movie" (don't laugh but I used to be hooked on Inspector Gadget cartoons! Hehe.. he was my hero!) and "My Best Friend's Wedding" where he played the role of the gay friend *grin* He was also in a few other movies like "A Midsummer's NIght Dream" and the upcoming "Chronicles of Narnia"

5. Ryan Philippe

Hottie alert! Hottie alert!! Muahaha... another name from my list *grin* I was looking for a picture of him in a suit but I couldn't find a decent one so, what the heck, let's just settle for one where he's shirtless...

6. Takeshi Kaneshiro

I haven't seen this guy for ages! I think the last show I watched with him in it was "Tempting Heart" which was like eons ago! But he's still good looking nevertheless... and this is a pic of him in a suit! Haha.. damn, I love corporate looking males!

7. Lee Hom

Another pretty boy... a name from Melissa's list *grin* May Chwyn likes pretty boys too eh? And lookie! In the picture, he's wearing a shirt! Men can NEVER go wrong with shirts~! I don't know what it is with me and men with shirts, ties and coats :p

8. Ben Affleck

The famous Ben Affleck from the "Bennifer" fiasco with Jennifer Lopez *grin* I actually found a nice pic of him sporting a scruffy look and he was in a suit but the pic refused to be uploaded here! damn! Gotta settle for something lesser then... *sigh*

9. Andy Lau

I don't know if there's something wrong with my eyes or my tastes but Andy Lau really doesn't do it for me. Hmmm... I wonder why? But May Chwyn and Sue likes him.. so anything goes! To make it better, I found a pic of him in a shirt and a tie~! *yay* Corporate looking men rulez!

10. Johnny Depp

I can't believe May Chwyn ranked this gorgeous hunk of meat no. 10! *gasp* he was no. 2 on my list *grin* I nearly keeled over when Boey asked me if he's the "funny weird guy" in "Edward Scissorhands". And when I told her he was WIlly Wonka in "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory", she practically doubled over in laughter! Damn! I still think that he looks hot no matter what and I think there will be people who will agree with me like Sue and Bee Sung :p hehe...

So this is it... May Chwyn's list *grin* Not a greedy girl cos she's only got 10 names on the list (unlike a few of us who just can't get enough! *grin*) May Chwyn, I hope you are satisfied with the pictures that I have found ;) Enjoy ya~!
Another list will be up tomorrow!! *yay* Meanwhile, enjoy what May Chwyn does...
